These Terms of Service govern your use of the TradeWorks NQ website and the plumbing services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

TradeWorks NQ provides plumbing and drainage services in Townsville, Queensland, including general plumbing, blocked drains, leak detection, hot water systems, roofing and guttering, drainage, emergency plumbing, commercial plumbing, and new construction plumbing.

2. Quotes and Pricing

  • We provide detailed written quotes for all work
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue
  • Hourly rates apply for work not covered by a fixed quote
  • Additional work beyond the quoted scope will be discussed and agreed upon before proceeding
  • Materials and parts are charged at cost plus a handling fee

3. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise agreed
  • We accept payment by bank transfer, credit card, or cash
  • Late payment may incur interest charges
  • For larger projects, we may require a deposit before commencing work

4. Warranty

  • We warrant our workmanship for 12 months from completion
  • Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and equipment
  • Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, lack of maintenance, or acts of nature
  • Warranty claims must be made in writing within the warranty period

5. Cancellations

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before scheduled work: no charge
  • Cancellations within 24 hours: may incur a call-out fee
  • For emergency work already in progress: full labour charge applies

6. Access and Site Conditions

  • You must provide safe and reasonable access to work areas
  • We are not responsible for damage to concealed services not properly identified
  • Additional costs may apply for work in hazardous or difficult conditions

7. Insurance and Licensing

TradeWorks NQ holds current QBCC licenses and comprehensive public liability insurance. Certificates of currency are available on request.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the work performed. We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses.

10. Governing Law
